Early Spring Lawn Treatment
FEB – MARCH | At Next to Nature, it is important that your lawn makes a statement when you pull in the driveway. The first step in our signature 7 Step Program is the Early Spring Lawn Treatment. This application will jump start the lawn and provide the first installment for grassy weed control (crabgrass, foxtail and barnyardgrass). Our custom-made slow-release fertilizer helps sustain a nice spring color and spoon feeds the lawn through the early spring months.
Late Spring Lawn Treatment
APRIL – MAY | Our Late Spring Lawn Treatment extends our grassy weed control (crabgrass, foxtail and barnyardgrass) and we target broadleaf weeds (dandelions, chickweed, clover, henbit and prickly lettuce) for control.
Summer Fertilizer plus Grub Treatment
JUNE – JULY | Our Summer Fertilizer plus Grub Treatment includes a slow release fertilizer to spoon feed the turfgrass through the summer months plus an insecticide treatment for season long control of white grubs (Southern Masked Chafer and Billbugs). Watering in the summer is key to the success of your lawn and landscape. As your account manager, we will provide you with a watering schedule that will work best for your lawn.
Summer Weed Control
JULY – AUG | This treatment includes controlling summer weeds such as spurge, purslane, and nutsedge.
Early Fall Lawn Treatment
SEPT – OCT | Our Early Fall Lawn Treatment helps to rebuild the turf from summer stress. This fertilizer application will help to promote a healthy root system and give a nice vibrant fall color.
Winterizer Lawn Treatment
NOV – DEC | Our Winterizer Lawn Treatment includes a nitrogen-based fertilizer that builds the foundation for a strong lawn next spring.

Schedule a Consultation
Our process begins with you reaching out to us using our online form or calling our office at 913.963.8180 and collecting some basic info. From there, one of our Designers will reach out to schedule an on-site consultation to meet with you and discuss your project in further detail.
Plan and Proposal
After the on-site consultation, our designers will put together a detailed Plan and Proposal for your project with which they will meet with you again and review in person to discuss. Our designers are happy to make changes and alterations to this plan if needed and work through the design process WITH you until we have the plan of your dreams that meets your requirements, budget and desires.
Installation
Utilizing our in-house installation professionals and your designer, we work closely together to bring your project to life! Our designers are involved throughout the entire installation project and stay in contact with you to ensure your expectations are being met as the project progresses.
